That's the only thing that can hold the shuffle on arm. It is just I am thinking it is not really necessary for shuffle because it has a clip. the case is more useful for other ipod styles
I use it every day while I run and I am not nice to my gear. This is a thin, well made mesh and velcro band. The picture shows the sleeve for the Nano. It has held up longer than my last Ipod Shuffle. The ipod fits nicely on it and it adjusts along the band as well as the band being very adjustable. It's simple and works better than any other I have tried. Try this out while running with the Nike Earhook sport headphones. Highly recommended.

I bought the armband at the same time that I got my new Shuffle. It works great. I take it to the gym and it helps to keep the headphone cord out of the way, and the shuffle fits securely in the clasp so I don't have to worry about dropping it. Very pleased with this purchase.
Great armband for the shuffle. Only negative is that it provides no protection, so don't run in the rain with this. Otherwise it is everything I was looking for.
